The Micromax subsidiary, Yu Mobile has come up with a new smartphone dubbed as Yureka 2 in India which is priced at Rs 11,999. The smartphone will be a Flipkart exclusive product and will go on sale during the Big Billion Days sale which starts from 20 September.
Yu Yureka 2 follows Yu Yureka Black smartphone which is priced at 8,999 and was launched in June, comes with 4GB RAM and powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor featuring 32GB internal storage.

Getting to the specifications of the device, Yu Yureka 2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 2.5D glass coating on front also sports a metal unibody design. The device is powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor which is coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone also flaunts a fingerprint scanner as well. The smartphone is juiced up by a 3930 mAh battery, and comes with Qualcomm’s 3.0 quick charge technology.
The phone runs Android Marsmallow out-of-the-box. For the photography part, Yu Yureka 2 boasts 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter on the front panel. Moreover, it features night mode, beauty mode, multi shots, and auto focus. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB, whereas the sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, and proximity sensor.
With Redmi Note 4 and Lenovo K8 Plus already ruling the market under this price bar, the new phone from Yu Mobiles will face some competition from these devices. More details will be shared soon.
