As from the past reports, you may recall, Xiaomi is all set to launch it much awaited device Mi Mix 2 just a day before the launch of the 10th-anniversary model of Apple’s iPhone 8. The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 bezel-less flagship smartphone will be unveiled in China at the Beijing University of Technology Gymnasium at 2 PM local time. The head turning news is now that, the Xiaomi President Lin Bin has just confirmed that the Mi Note 3 will be launched alongside the launch of Mi Mix 2.
The basis of the news is the teaser image of the Mi Note 3 which has been released by Xiaomi’s co-founder Lin Bin on Friday posted on the micro blogging website, Weibo. Moreover, it is believed that the new phone will be the larger version of the recently announced flagship phone the Mi 6. As the name suggests, Mi Note 3 will be the successor of the last year’s Mi Note 2 and if we take a look at the teaser image, it shows that the device will be coming in three colors variants which are two shades of blue and a black variant. The teaser itself gives the hint of the launch of the phone on September 11 with the Chinese actor and singer, Wu Yifan featuring in the poster.
Rumored Specs of Mi Note 3:
Collecting the information of the specs of the device from the teasers, Mi Note 3 will come with a 5.7-inch QHD curved AMOLED display. The smartphone might be tipped with two variants for storage, first one comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage, while the second one comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The device is expected to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system running the company’s MIUI 9 on top. Under the hood, it will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor and juiced up by a non-removable 4070mAh which comes with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 4.0 fast charging technology.
Coming to the pricing details of the device, it is highly anticipated that the 6GB RAM variant might cost around $599 which roughly translates to Rs 38,893 and the 8GB RAM variant will cost $699, which is roughly around Rs 45,333.
