MWC 2018 is just in a couple of weeks and many big smartphone manufacturers are all set to launch some of their great devices in the event. Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+ are one of the limelight stealers in the event but now looks like Xiaomi will also be participating in the event and may launch some device to gather the eyeballs. The device we are talking about here might be Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S.
The design and specifications of the device are no hidden. There have been numerous leaks about the device in the past which includes Mi Mix 2’s real image on Chinese social network website Weibo. Now recently, a poster believed to be of Mix 2s and a hands-on video has popped online. As per the leaked photo, MIX 2S should come with an almost zero forehead and narrower bezels.
Going by the earlier leaks, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S is said to come with the internal codename Polaris. The phone is also anticipated to become Xiaomi’s first Snapdragon 845-packing smartphone. The device is also packed with a new full-screen 3.0 and sports an 8GB of RAM. For the optics, the phone tipped to be coming with a dual 12MP rear camera setup. The main camera comes with a Sony IMX 363 sensor which will be used to support four-axis optical image stabilization while the front sensor is an OmniVision OV5675 sensor. The position of the fingerprint sensor is still under shades. The smartphone will be fueled by the battery capacity of 3400mAh. Although the launch of the device still is unannounced.
