Prior to its launch, Mi Max 3 has been in rumor mills for so long. We know that the company is working on its phablet smartphone which is going to be launched in Q2, 2018. Now from the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, a leak reveals many specifications of the phablet including the display size, battery power, and storage options.
The leak suggests that the phone will be coming with a massive 6.99-inch full HD+ display with a 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Earlier it was said that the phone will be having 7-inch 18:9 display. Further, the leak also states that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 635 which is an optimized version of the Snapdragon 625 and manufactured with 14 nm process technology. The Snapdragon 635 is said to be 20 percent more powerful than the previous version.
The phone is said to make use of a massive 5,500 mAh battery which will be coming with Quick Charge 3.0 technology and reverse charging technology. The phone will be coming in two variants: one with 3GB RAM and 64GB storage and another with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The phone was believed to come with dual camera setup but as per new report doing the rounds, it will have a 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel a front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The phone might be running Android Nougat based MIUI 9. There will be a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner on the device as well just like its predecessor Mi Max 2.
Also, the phone is rumored to be priced around 1699 Yuan (approx. Rs 16,700). Further details will be shared regularly.
