To grab some eyeballs, Xiaomi was planning to launch Xiaomi Mi 7 as showstopper at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 which is going to take place in Barcelona, next month. Even Mi Max 3 made its way to the rumors of getting a launch at this event. But looks like, the Xiaomi is in no mood to launch these devices at this event. Instead, the company will be launching Mi MIX 2S.
The reason behind this is believed to be the devices which Samsung and Sony will be offering. Samsung’s Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ and Sony’s Xperia XZ Pro will be launched in the event. Now the company will be launching Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S at this event. There are not many details about the device yet. It is believed to power Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.
Mi 7 has been in rumor mills for so long and many of its specifications have been leaked online.
Expected Specifications of Xiaomi Mi 7:
Counting on the information leaked before, the Xiaomi Mi 7 might come with metal and glass and feature a 5.65-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and may offer a full HD+ display. There would be a dual camera set-up along with fingerprint scanner embedded on the rear panel of the device. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 64-bit octa-core SoC which will be paired with 6GB of RAM. The phone will feature wireless technology. The phone will be coming with facial recognition feature and AI equipped dual rear cameras. It is also rumored that the Mi 7 might become the first phone to have wireless charging support.
