According to the latest reports, Vodafone has introduced a new plan which seems to be a counter plan against the back to back Reliance Jio rates. The new plan is for Rs. 244 and is valid up to 70 days. It offers its subscribers 1 GB data each day and unlimited calls to other Vodafone users. The limitation to this offer is that this can only be availed by the new users of Vodafone, which means no existing user can opt for this. Besides, this package offers validity up to 70 days for first recharge only; which means the second recharge onwards the validity will not last up to 70 days, it will fall down to 35 days for the same amount.
This telecom giant has introduced another offer as well. The other plan which costs Rs. 346 is valid up to 56 days. This package offers 1 GB 4G data per day and unlimited voice calls to any network connection. The “unlimited” voice calls however holds a limitation. The calls are limited to 300 minutes for each day, summing up to 1,200 minutes per week. There is going to be five per cent cash back to each and every user who opts for either of the two packages, that is, Rs. 244 or Rs. 346 plans, but this can be availed only if the recharge is done through the My Vodafone app. There is information that the cashback will be offered in form of additional talk time within the validity period.
Besides Vodafone, Bharti Airtel and Idea Cellular are also introducing such exciting plans which offer 1GB data per day and unlimited voice calls for a similar range of price. Airtel offers a similar plan at Rs. 244 while Idea Cellular offers the alike benefits on a recharge of Rs. 297. The difference between the plans introduced by Vodafone and two latter telecom giants is that Airtel and Idea are offering this package to all existing and new users, while the one from Vodafone is restricted to new users only.
