In order to be in the competition, Vodafone has now revised many of its plans including ₹198, ₹509, ₹458 Packs. Ever since Jio has stormed the telecom sector with its disruptive offers, it has become the nightmare for the rest of the telecom operators. To tackle this, Vodafone’s Rs 509 and Rs 458 tariff plans will now offer 1.4GB data per day, whereas the Rs 348 tariff plan now provides 2.5GB data per day.
Although the company has launched the plan in circles like Karnataka, Chennai, Gujarat, Haryana, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh (E). The company is planning to launch these revised plans in other circles as well. After this rejig, the Rs 509 prepaid tariff plan of Vodafone now offers 1.4GB data per day for 91 days, whereas, the Rs 458 plan now comes with 1.4GB data per day for 84 days. The third plan, Rs 348 tariff plan is there to offer 2.5GB data per day for 28 days.
There are many other plans which are offered by the company. The revised Rs 199 prepaid plan offers 1.4GB data per day for 28 days. The pack is further bundled with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for the validity period. Though the unlimited calling limited to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. Another plan is Rs 179 prepaid plan which offers unlimited voice calls, 1GB of high-speed data and 100 SMS per day for 28 days.
Jio is still very ahead of Vodafone in terms of data per day and unlimited calling. Vodafone is trying its best to compete with Jio and Airtel. The company will soon launch its VoLTE services across the country which will help it to lure more customers.
