Every telecom company is focussing on increasing its customer base in this era of heavy competition. India’s second largest telecom service provider, Vodafone has come with an idea for such thing. It has partnered with Samsung to offer cashback on selected smartphones. The similar initiative as also launched by Airtel on Thursday in which the cashback will be given on selected Samsung smartphones including Galaxy J2 (2017), Galaxy J5 Prime, Galaxy J7 Prime, and Galaxy J7 Pro priced in the range of Rs 6,990 to Rs 19,900.
Vodafone, on selected Samsung 4G phones including Galaxy J2 Pro, Galaxy J7 Nxt, and Galaxy J7 Max will offer a cashback of up to Rs 1,500. For availing this offer, the Vodafone prepaid customers will have to recharge with Rs 198 per month for a period of 24 months. The Rs 198 monthly recharge will be beneficial for the users as they will be offered unlimited voice calls and 1GB data per day. The users for availing the offer need to subscribe any of the Vodafone’s Red plans.
“Postpaid customers need to opt into any one of Vodafone’s attractive Red Plans. At the end of the first 12 months, users will receive a cashback of Rs 600 and after another 12 months, a cashback of Rs 900 respectively. The cashback will be credited to their Vodafone M-Pesa wallets,” the Vodafone statement said.
