VIVO XPlay 7’s Leaked Images Reveals 8GB RAM, Full Bezel-Less Screen, Under-Screen Fingerprint Scanner

The VIVO XPlay 6 might have been the first phone to have featured the Qualcomm developed Under-Screen Fingerprint Scanner technology. Yesterday, there was a report which stated that Samsung may also use such a technology in their upcoming Galaxy S9 series. But today, there is a new report which reveals certain leaks that the upcoming VIVO XPlay 7 device may also feature the Under-Screen Fingerprint Scanner technology.

This is just a rumour so we can’t really say whether this will be the final design of the phone or not. VIVO was the first brand that had come up with this technology so it can be said that this feature may be seen the XPlay 7 device that is expected to be released in the first half of the year 2018. In order to support this technology, a compatible hardware is required. We may see the Snapdragon 845 SoC in the XPlay 7 handset which will support this technology. Meanwhile, another report on the VIVO X20 shows that the phone may come with very thin-bezels.

 

Talking about the other specifications of the phone, it is said that the VIVO XPlay 7 may come with a 100 per cent bezel-less screen. One can believe this as the leaked image on Weibo of the VIVO XPlay 7 from its inner company shows that the phone will come may come with a 100 per cent screen to body ratio. The device is said to come with an 8GB RAM along with 128GB or 258GB versions.

In the leaked images, one can see that the device sports a dual camera set up in the front along with dual rear camera in the rear side arranged in a vertical set up. The phone seems very slim and in the bottom, it consists of the USB Type C and double speaker. If the 100 per cent bezel-less rumor is believed then undoubtedly VIVO XPlay 7 will be the most beautiful smartphone in the bezel-less smartphone category. With the technology growing each day, we can believe that the phone may achieve full screen with 100 per cent bezel less display.
