Vivo X20 Plus UD is much likely to be the first smartphone to come with in-display fingerprint technology. And now various press renders of the smartphone have been leaked online with details of price and launch date of the same. The new reports suggest that the smartphone will officially launch in China on January 25. As per the popular leakster Zyad Atef, the phone will cost CNY3,998 ($625/€510) and will release in the home country.

The new smartphone resembles with the recently-launched X20 Plus and has been spotted on TENAA sometime ago. The much talked about news about the smartphone is an under-display fingerprint scanner which will be placed between the glass panel and the OLED display panel. The Synaptics Clear ID technology will be used by the company to illuminate the display to read the unique pattern of the finger to authenticate owner of the device.
Alleged Specifications of Vivo X20 Plus UD:
Taking the previous leaks as a basis, the Vivo X20 Plus UD will feature 6.43-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels much similar to original X20 Plus. As per the listings, the smartphone will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor which will be coupled with 4GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage.
For the optics, the smartphone comes with a combination of 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear cameras, whereas, a 12-megapixel shooter is placed on the front panel for selfies and video-calling. The smartphone will be housed by a 3800mAh battery. The device measures 165.2 x 80.02 x 7.35 mm and weighs 183.1 grams.
