Truecaller Now Supports Video Calling Through Google Duo

Truecaller, one of the leading communication apps, has recently announced its integration with Google Duo. Now, this might be a bit of good news for video calling lovers as Truecaller will now allow video calling app Google Duo to be used on this app itself. This announcement for Androids has been made on Tuesday, while the integration with iPhone was already made the previous week.

This integration will allow high quality video calling on Truecaller itself and Google Duo seems to be the perfect partner to ensure this to over 250 million Truecaller users worldwide.

Officials from Truecaller have mentioned in their statements that there are times when a text or a call isn’t enough and the need for face to face communication creeps in. Therefore this is just another step towards making people love their Truecaller experience a little more.

The announcement of this collaboration of Google Duo with Truecaller had been initiated back in the month of March, where the latter had announced its plans designated for the Indian market.

The announcement also included a new upgrade to the Truecaller app on Androids. The new update comprises of a new design of the app including features like SMS filter, Flash Messaging and Truecaller Play.

Truecaller finally launched Flash Messaging for its Android App in the month of April while reaching out to the iPhone users in the month of July.
