Airtel and Jio are always neck to neck with each other and give open competition to each other. There are many plans launched by the companies to lure the customers. Now in order to give direct competition to the Reliance Jio’s all-new Rs 509 tariff plan which was unveiled yesterday, Airtel has also revised some of its plans.
Reliance Jio revised Rs 509 tariff plan offers 3GB data per day, 100 SMS per day, and unlimited voice calls to any network in the country without any FUP, whereas, the Rs 549 from Airtel offers 3GB data per day for 28 days from the date of recharge with unlimited voice calls without any FUP and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. Thus, with the validity of 28 days, now the plan offers a total of 84GB data.
Another Jio’s plan, Rs. 309 plan offers 49GB data at 1GB per day and 28-day validity, along with free calls, 3,000 SMSes, roaming outgoing calls, and access to Jio apps. For that Airtel has come up with the Rs. 349 plan which launched in September and originally came with 1GB daily data allocation, now offering 2GB data per day, which gives a total of 56GB data for 28 days with unlimited calling.
The other incumbents like Vodafone and Idea are also there to offers the plans with similar benefits as mentioned above. The telecom service providing companies are working to expand their customer base and for that, they come up with really interesting deals. It will be great to see now, what move will Airtel make after the Reliance Jio had made some changes in Rs 799 tariff plan by offering 5GB data per day.
