Xiaomi is one of the leading smartphone selling brands in India and to maintain that position, the company has started selling its smartphones via offline channels also. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro were launched in China last month and available via Flipkart, Mi.com, and Mi Home stores. The company promised to sell these devices via its offline retail partners soon.
The Redmi Note 5 is now available for pre-bookings via offline stores and those who want to have their hands on this device can pre-book the Redmi Note 5 via brick-and-mortar shops with a pre-booking amount of Rs. 2,000. The Redmi Note 5 Pro online sales start at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 16,999 in India. But one thing has to be kept in mind. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 price (MOP) via third-party offline retail stores set at Rs. 10,499 for the 3GB RAM, 32GB model, and going up to Rs. 12,499 for the 4GB RAM, 64GB storage variant. This is more than the online price bar which is Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB RAM, 32GB storage variant and Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant as the buyers have to pay Rs. 500 – the premium to over the online price when buying from partner stores.
