Xiaomi Mi Note 2 smartphone was launched in October 2016 with flexible display and top-notch specs. Seeing the success rate of the device, the company has unveiled a special edition of Note 2 in China dubbed as Xiaomi Mi Note 2 Special Edition on 11 July. Yes, you got it right! Xiaomi also showcased a new prototype phone called Xiaomi Mix. The new variant is priced at 2,599 Yuan which is approximately Rs 24,659.

As per the reports, all the specs of the phone matches with that of the original one, only a change in onboard storage space of 6GB RAM variant which is now 64GB instead of the 128GB has come. Recalling the features of Mi Note 2, the phone comes with a 5.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels.
It is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and 4GB of RAM which packs 64GB of internal storage but cannot be expanded. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 runs Android. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, Infrared, 3G and 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India)
For the photography part, the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 packs a 22.56-megapixel primary camera on the rear with a Sony IMX318 Exmor RS sensor, a f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and EIS with its own 3-axis gyroscope for 4K video stabilisation and an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies with f/2.0 aperture with features like group selfie and Auto Beautify 3.0. It is backed by a massive 4,070mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0.
