Sony Xperia XZ1 With Android 8.0 Oreo & 4GB RAM Hits GFXBench

Sony is expected to launch three smartphones – Sony Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact and Xperia X1 at the IFA 2017 event which is going to happen in Berlin. The Xperia XZ1 being top variant in the three with some high-end specs might come with model number- Sony G8541. The phone has now been spotted on GFXBnech running the recently launched Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. Thanks to the listing which appeared on the GFXBench, many details related to the phone has now come out.

The new series will be replacing the XZ series with three new devices of XZ1, coming with ‘full pixel continuous and shoot’. Two of the smartphones, Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact, will come with high-end hardware, whereas the Xperia X1 will be a mid-range specs phone.

Specifications of Xperia XZ1:

Going with the listings, XZ1 might come in two variants with different sizes, one will be of 6.2-inch display whereas the other variant will be coming in 12.3-inch display size.

Moreover, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset, which will be paired with 4GB of RAM. For keeping the lights on, there will be a 3000mAh battery. For the optics, the device is most likely to have a 19MP rear camera, for recording 4K videos and comes with a 13MP front-facing camera, 4K videos recording feature.
