Skype Now Supports PayPal payments From Within the Chats

As the global payment giant, Paypal is continuing with its growth, here is information regarding an announcement of its integration with Skype. There has been a new deal which says that Skype users in about 22 countries worldwide will now be able to pay their friends or family directly from their Skype window using their PayPal account.

However, this payment system is not meant for business transactions. Users can only pay their friends or family members using their PayPal account or debit cards at no extra card. There will be a fee of 3.4 per cent of transaction above $0.30 charged for credit card users.

The list of supported markets are inclusive of : U.S, U.K, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia and Spain.

How to use this feature?

Make sure, your Skype app is upgraded to the latest version. While in conversation with a friend or a family member, select “Find” from the top bar of your conversation screen. Now, choose the “Send Money” add-in. Just type in the amount you want to send, confirm your payment and click on ‘Send’ to complete the transaction.
