Electronics giant Samsung has launched its much-awaited tablet Galaxy Tab S3 today in an event in Bengaluru. The tab was first unveiled at MWC 2017 in Barcelona.
The tab comes with two special offers which include one-time screen replacement at Rs 990 within a period of 12 months from purchase for those who purchase Galaxy Tab S3 till 31 July and Reliance Jio’s double data offer of 28+28GB a month at Rs 309 which will be valid until 31 December.
Recalling the amazing features of the tablet, it comes with 9.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. The tab is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 4GB RAM, and 32GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. It runs Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. There will be a 13MP autofocus rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 5MP front-facing snapper with f/2.2 aperture. The connectivity options include 4G LTE Cat 6, USB Type-C 3.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v4.2 and GPS. It is powered by a 6,000 mAh battery.
The tab has a S Pen which features a 0.7 mm tip and has a diameter of 9.4 mm. It is one of the most highlighting features. Moreover, it does not require any additional battery or power to operate and the tab comes with S Pen-specific apps for the better use. In addition to this, the tablet also has Samsung Flow feature, in which users can log in using biometric authentication.
The tablet is priced at Rs 47,990 and it will be available from today for the sale in retail stores. It comes in black and silver color options.
