Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime Now Receiving Android Nougat

The magical Nougat days are on the rolling!  Following the footsteps of the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016), the Galaxy J7 Prime will also witness the sweet Android Nougat.  The South Korean giant has been pushing out the updates for the same.

It is actually raining Nougats for Indians.  If you hold the Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime, be ready to grab this update in your handsets.

The Galaxy J7 Prime had originally shipped with the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on board.  It was a September 2016 release.  Now, it was high time for some Nougat twist in the J7 Prime OS.

The firmware version for the Android 7.0 Nougat is G610FDDU1BQH9.  The OS software has a file size of about 1143.09 MB.

Before you head for the upgradation, make sure that there is sufficient space in your device.  Ideally, you should clean your unwanted system files and create a back-up so that you get at least 2 GB in hand.

To make through a proper and safe download, you must juice up your device battery above 50 percent.  It is advisable that you stick to the Wi-Fi service during the download.  This would save your data pack and ensure continuous download without fail.

However, if the notification doesn’t show up, you can also check for the updates manually.  Tap on the ‘Settings’ icon, head onto the ‘About Device’ button.  Now, select the ‘Download Updates Manually’ option.

Currently, the updates for the Android Nougat are being delivered in phases.  So, if you don’t get to catch a glimpse of the update notification, there is nothing to worry.  It would reach you definitely, but may be gradually.
