Samsung is believed to gearing up to upgrade its Galaxy J-series and this fact can be proved when two smartphones of the same series were found listed on the benchmarking sites. Samsung smartphones with model numbers SM-J337P/SM-J337A and SM-J600F have surfaced in Geekbench, which could be Galaxy J3 (2018) and Galaxy J6. With the launch of its flagship device, Samsung Galaxy S9, the company is in rumors but looks like it has already something baking in the oven.
Samsung Galaxy J6 and the Samsung Galaxy J3 2018 have just gone through Geekbench. According to the listing, both the phones will run Android 8.0 (Oreo) and pack 2GB of RAM. The J3 (2018) is expected to be powered by Exynos 7570 14nm SoC and the Galaxy J6 might feature Exynos 7870 SoC which is the heart of Samsung’s mid-range smartphones which includes the Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 (2017) as well. The GFXbench listing reveals few more specifications of the Galaxy J3 (2018), here are some of the details.
Two models were spotted with the model number of SM-J337A and SM-J337P respectively. Firstly talking about SM-J337A, the smartphone has scored 604 points in single-core test and 1651 points in the multi-core test. Also, the listing focusses on the smartphone running on Android 8.0 Oreo and will have Samsung Exynos 7570 quad-core processor along with 2GB of RAM under the hood.
Coming to SM-J337P, the smartphone has received 650 points in the single-core test, while in the multi-core test, it has received 1799 points. This model is also listed running Android 8.0 Oreo and powered by Samsung Exynos 7885 quad-core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
