Samsung’s new flip phone SM-W2018 leaked yet again, and this time it is the gold colour variant of the device which has leaked again. The Chinese branch of Samsung has already assured that the SM-W2018 will be officially announced in the Far Eastern country on December 1st, which is also when the company is expected to share more details about its commercial availability.
Talking about the features, the device is expected to flaunt a dual screen display. Out of which one is going to be on the front sporting the second one inside it. The earlier leaks have suggested that the phone might come with two dual 4.2-inch full HD displays. Although, bezel-less display is the new trend nowadays but the flip phone may come with thin bezels on the sides – however the top chin may be thick. The images have further suggested that the phone will feature a physical keypad and navigation buttons.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the rear camera is seen placed in the similar manner as in the Galaxy S8. There also comes a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. Antenna lines are also present on the bottom and side panels of the phone. Powering the device will be Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 processor. The processor is clubbed with 6 GB of RAM. There also comes 64 GB of internal storage on the board and a microSD card slot which can expand the memory configuration up to 256 GB.
Now, the question arises regarding the availability of the phone in India. Samsung generally keeps the flip phones limited to South Korea and China. The same was applied to SM-W2017 which the company announced last November.
