As a part of Republic Day 2018 offers, Jio has revised some of its plans including Jio’s Rs 209 and Rs 509 plans. The plan used to offer 2GB and 3GB data per day come with only 28 days of validity. But now, seeing the raging competition among the telecom operators, it has revised the FUP of these plans. After the revision, the Rs 509 plan now offers 4GB data per day, while the Rs 299 provides 3GB data per day.
The Jio Rs 299 plan which earlier offered 2GB of data per day, now gives 3GB of data per day, which makes the overall data to 84GB, that originally was of 56GB. The plan comes with a validity of 28 days. Another plan that has been revised is the Rs 509 plan which now offers 4GB of data per day for the validity of 28 days. After this rejig, the plan will now offer a total of 112GB of data which used to be 84GB earlier. The plan originally offered 3GB data per day.
These plans are also bundled with other goodies also. They offer unlimited voice calls, both on roaming and local and STD calls along with free 100 SMS per day. The plan also offers a complimentary subscription to Jio’s suite of apps for one year. You need to be a prime customer, however, by paying Rs. 99, to avail these plans.
The plans offer unlimited data benefits as even after the FUP, Jio continues to provide internet, just with the reduction in speed to 64kbps. To avail these offers, the users can go to Reliance Jio’s website or MyJio application to recharge for the plans.
