A few months ago the telecom giant Reliance Jio had launched its new 4G VoLTE phone JioPhone. The company has also completed its first registration process and also achieved a huge number of booking for this device. The first booking process was started on 24th August. As per the record, the company had received six million registration during its first phase registration process. Now, the company has announced that it will start the second phase of registration for JioPhone after Diwali. As per the information was given by a Reliance Retail channel partner, the process will start from the end of the October or first week of November.
The company is now speeding up the process to deliver those 6 million JioPhone. The company had promised that it would finish the deliver process by Diwali. After this process, the second phase will kick start. No official statement has been received yet form the company. After some few days, the company had paused the registration process due to heavy bookings. In an announcement, Mukesh Ambani, Managing Director and Chairman of Reliance industries had informed that the phone would come free, but the company has decided to charge Rs 1500 which is refundable to prevent the misuse of the offer. The refundable scheme is valid under certain terms and conditions. To get back the amount, i.e., Rs. 1500, the users must refund the phone within two years from the delivery date, and it must be in good and working condition.
The buyers can check their order status using MyJio app. They can also visit Jio.com, the official website of Reliance Jio. The buyers can call the customer care of Jio on 1800898900. Before any inquiry, the buyers must have the order number with it. People can book the JioPhone from Jio retail stores or by using MyJio app. Now, the buyers need to wait till the final confirmation from the company.
