Reliance Network’s most anticipated Reliance JioPhone is set to hit the markets soon. With the trials rolling in from today, the pre-booking starts from August 24. Only a few selected users are a part of the beta testing with an unrevealed selection criteria. Nevertheless, you haven’t missed the train, as pre-booking will be open for all.
As stated by Mukesh Ambani, on its launch, the 4G JioPhone will effectively cost Rs 0. Therefore, the demand for this phone will be extravagant. Following a first-come-first-serve basis, a mad rush is expected when the phone finally rolls. Hence, online and offline procedures can be used to Pre-Book your handset.
The online procedure is as follows:
With a stable internet connection, it will be easy to Pre-book the JioPhone. First you have open their website, Jio.com and click on the Jio phone banner. The button will appear saying ‘Keep Me Posted’, click on the button. The guests will then be asked to share their details such as name, phone number, email and pin-code. After submitting the details, they will be notified about the latest updates through an email or SMS.
If you want more JioPhones, the process remains similar. But there is a slight deviation, here your Pan card details or GSTN number will be asked, so keep that ready. With that details handy, the users need to fill a form with their name, company name, pin-code, Pan card or GSTN number of the company. Following this, they will be asked to specify how many units are required. They will have options including choosing both the JioPhone and JioFi-Wifi portable hot-spot device.
Albeit, pricing of the JioPhone for business purposes is not known.
The offline procedure:
Users with Reliance stores (Reliance digital or Jio centers) in their neighborhood, can also pre-book. They will need to register their interest with an offline form. However, customers need to keep one thing in mind that the shipments arrive in September. So, they won’t be able to buy the JioPhone before September.
