The Reliance JioPhone bookings seem to have started at certain retail stores. Though there are a few specific offline retail stores in the Delhi NCR region that have started taking the bookings, a week before the scheduled date. The company had announced that the booking will start on August 24.

How to book the JioPhone offline?
To begin with, the users will need a copy of Aadhaar card. The consumer will have to visit the retailer, submit the Aadhar number. The number will be uploaded to the centralized software that will assign a token number that needs to be kept safe until the device is shipped. After the shipment arrives, you need to pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 1,500.
There is another method to book a Reliance JioPhone:
The consumer will have to send a SMS. The SMS should be in the following format: JP <Store Code> to 7021170211. The store code is a unique code of your nearest Jio store. Subsequently, an intimation from Jio saying, “Thank you for your interest in JioPhone. We will keep you informed as soon as we start our pre-bookings.” will be received.
How to book JioPhone online?
The online bookings will start on August 24. However, you can register for Jiophone notifications.
The user can visit the Jio.com or download the MyJio app. The users will see,a poster saying ‘Keep Me Posted, on the website. The user will have to click on it and share their contact details such as name, email address, phone number and PIN code. The consumer will receive an automated email or SMS, registering there interest. In spite of this, this is not the actual booking process.
