Reliance JioPhone pre-bookings have already crossed 6 million units within a day. The pre-registrations started on the evening of August 24 and had to be suspended on August 26 itself owing to the enormous number of bookings received. Besides, 10 million people have already registered with the retail outlets.
Reliance JioPhone is all set to get delivered from September 21st, marking the auspicious occasion of Navratri.
The Mukesh Ambani led Company aims to sell around 100 million units of the handset within the first year of its launch, progressing at the rate of delivering five million units every week.
To recall, Reliance JioPhone comes at absolutely free of cost. Users simply have to pay Rs. 500 for registration and Rs.1000 on receiving the handset. The entire Rs. 1500 is refundable after a span of three complete from the date of purchase only after returning the phone to the Company.
