Reliance Jio had just recently launched the Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan offer and now the Mukesh Ambani led company has introduced a new tariff plan of Rs 449 which will offer the users similar benefits like the recent Rs 459 plan. The only difference between the two recharge offers is that the new Rs 499 tariff plan will offer extra validity of seven days. The user can recharge with the new Jio Rs 499 plan through the MyJio application as this plan has not yet been listed on the Jio.com website.
The Rs 499 plan will give the user 1GB data/day for a period of 91 days along with some other benefits like unlimited voice calls and access to all the premium Jio applications. But it is still unknown on whether or not this new tariff plan is just a one-time recharge offer like the other Jio recharge plans.
Reliance Jio had recently upgraded its tariff plans and increasing the price of the plans by almost 15 per cent. The same benefit of Rs 459 which gives 1GB data /day for a period of 84 days and voice calls was earlier given in the Jio Rs 399 offer and previously on Rs 309 offer which was then increased to Rs 399.
The company has slowly begun increasing the price of its tariff plans for every month. It is no more the same company which offered very low and attractive prices than the other telecom operators like Airtel, Idea and Vodafone. Coming back to the Rs 499 plan, Indian telecom operator BSNL has also launched a similar plan of Rs 429 which gives the user 1GB data/day along with unlimited voice calls for a period of 90 days. This clearly shows that the BSNL offer is a better value for money when compared to the Jio new RS 499 offer. But the advantage of Reliance Jio is that it offers pan-India 4g network connectivity. Even today, Jio is the only LTE operator in India which offers pan-India VoLTE services.
