The company had suspended the Oreo update for its premium device Xiaomi Mi A1 twice already due to some bugs problem. After that, the company had completed the update and the device was finally getting the third roll-out. The new update comes with January security update along with all the bug fixes for the previous two update. But looks like it is also no different from the rest of the updates. This is also accompanied by some bugs of itself.
After the update, a number of people complained about the battery drain. The poll conducted at c.mi.com claimed that nearly 83% of the total people, complained of the battery drain. Even after the third attempt, the company is not able to provide a stable Oreo system to its users. It is a point of disappointment that the users have to experience bugs and other discrepancies. Complaints like lags when making calls, overheating issues, and some problems opening certain apps have been reported by the users.
There is no official statement regarding the problem from Xiaomi yet. Therefore, the users are advised to wait for the stable update by the company to roll out soon.
Recalling the specifications of the device, the Xiaomi Mi A1 features a 5.5-inch full HD display with a resolution of 1080 by 1920 pixels, powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. The processor is coupled with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of internal storage and expandable memory of 128 GB via a microSD.
There are two 12 megapixel lenses with the support of 2X optical zoom in the camera and a 5MP shooter on the front panel. The phone is housed with a 3080mAh battery. The fingerprint sensor on rear and connectivity options like 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Display, hybrid SIM card slot, 3.5mm headphone jack, GPS, and Bluetooth are present on the phone.
