Panasonic Eluga I7 Hits Geekbench With 2GB RAM & Android 7.0 Nougat

The Japanese original equipment manufacturer, Panasonic has launched its Eluga series a long time ago. Recently a new device dubbed as Eluga I7 has paid its visit to the benchmarking site Geekbench where the specs of the device were listed. The device was spotted in the entry-level segment of the smartphone market on the site.

Alleged Specifications of Panasonic Eluga I7:

Recollecting the specs details of the device from the list which has appeared on the Geekbench, the device might be powered by the quad-core MT6737H which is a revision of MediaTek’s 2016 system-on-chip, clocking at an operating frequency of 1.30GHz and is equipped with the Mali-720 MP2 GPU. Storage wise, the device will be equipped with 2GB of RAM. Seeing the earlier models of the same series, like Eluga C which comes with an aspect ratio of 18:9, the new smartphone of the same series is most likely to follow the same display size. No further details regarding the screen size of the smartphone have been revealed in the listing which has appeared.

It is also believed that the smartphone might come with the bezel-free display. With that, the company will become the first smartphone manufacturer to launch the bezel-less device.

The device managed to score 621 in the single-core test while it gets 1816 in the multi-core test on Geekbench. The phone will run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box but might get updated to the latest operating system Oreo.

Now that the phone has come online, the debut of the device in India is anticipated in coming weeks. Further details will be shared soon.
