Oppo A83 was originally launched by the company in China last year and was made available in Indian markets early this January. The phone was launched for Rs 13,990 and now the device is receiving a price cut of Rs 1,000 and is currently retailing for Rs 12,990 on Flipkart. The smartphone is available in Champagne Gold and Black color options. But the thing to be noted here is that only the Black color variant is available for Rs 12,990 while the Champagne Gold variant is still priced at Rs 13,990 on Flipkart. However, both the variants of Oppo A83 are available on Amazon for Rs 13,990.

Calling upon the specifications of the device, Oppo A83 features a 5.7-inch HD+ (720×1440 pixels) LCD panel with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it comes with an octa-core processor, which is a MediaTek MT6763T SoC clocked at 2.5GHz paired with 4GB of RAM. The device sports 32GB onboard storage which is further expandable via microSD card up to 256GB.
For optics, the smartphone boasts a 13-megapixel camera sensor on the rear with an LED flash and there is an 8-megapixel front camera sensor for selfies and video-calling. The phone supports dual-SIM (Nano) option and runs Android 7.1 Nougat-based ColorOS 3.2.
