OnePlus 6 Rumored to Arrive in Q1 2018 With Under-Display Fingerprint Sensor

It seems that OnePlus was regretting its decision of placing the fingerprint scanner on the rear panel in the OnePlus 5T, which was a change from its series of designs. And it is hinted that the new flagship of the series, i.e., OnePlus 6 might come with an under display fingerprint sensor.

The under display scanner can be sported either in resemblance with iPhone X or with Vivo smartphones. However, the iPhone X’s way is somewhat expensive and complicated to implement and is also time consuming.

As far as the launch of the device is concerned, it is hinted that the phone will be unveiled earlier in 2018, just like the OnePlus 5 did. And the most probable month is March of the upcoming year for the launch.

Talking about the design and some of the alleged features of the device, OnePlus 6 is expected to flaunt a larger display than 5.5-inch which was sported by OnePlus 5. Moreover, the display will be bezel-less and will come along with an aspect ratio of 18:9 with QHD resolution. Powering the device will be latest Snapdragon 845 processor, which is also going to fuel almost all the new flagships in 2018. The processor will be mated with 6 GB of RAM, however, there will also come an 8 GB storage variant of the device. Camera-wise, it is expected to sport a dual camera setup with sensors of improved quality.

Although all these informations are just rumours and nothing has been announced officially by the company yet, so the credibility of the news remains doubted. But you do not need to worry, as soon as any news pops up regarding the device, we will surely let you know. Stay tuned for all the further updates.
