After the launch OnePlus 5 and 5T, the company is believed to be working on the next flagship model of 2018 which is most anticipated to be OnePlus 6. Earlier OnePlus 6 was expected to be launched by the end of Q1 but looks like the company will shift the launch to the end of Q2. At an interview, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has confirmed the device’s launch at the end of Q2 2018.
Further, it was also mentioned that the smartphone will be coming with Snapdragon 845 SoC, because “there’s no other choice”, were the words of the CEO. He further stated that “he wasn’t 100 percent sure if OnePlus would sell the second phone in 2018”.
Talking about the design and some of the alleged features of the device which were leaked earlier, OnePlus 6 is expected to flaunt a larger display than 5.5-inch which was sported by OnePlus 5. Moreover, the display will be bezel-less and will come along with an aspect ratio of 18:9 with QHD resolution. Powering the device will be latest Snapdragon 845 processor, which is also going to fuel almost all the new flagships in 2018. The processor will be mated with 6 GB of RAM, however, there will also come an 8 GB storage variant of the device. Camera-wise, it is expected to sport a dual camera setup with sensors of improved quality.
Although all these information are just rumors and nothing has been announced officially by the company yet, so the credibility of the news remains doubted.
