OnePlus on Monday confirmed the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition in association with Star Wars: The Last Jedi which is going to release next week. The new Limited Edition of OnePlus 5T was shown on Saturday at an event in Bengaluru. OnePlus is going to host an event on December 14 in Mumbai at 7pm at IMAX Wadala, for unveiling the latest device, the tickets for the event for the general public come with a price tag of Rs. 999 starting from 10 A.M. on December 7, 2017.
Talking about the availability of the device, the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition will go sale via Amazon.in, OnePlusStore.in, and OnePlus experience zones in Bengaluru, and Noida from December 15. The information regarding its price and storage variants are yet to be revealed.
As far as the specifications of the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition are concerned, they are likely to be identical to its original version that was rolled out in India last month with a starting price tag of Rs. 32,999. The device flaunts a 6.01-inch Full Optic AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device is fueled with a 2.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC processor, clubbed with up to 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB onboard storage. The device features a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel and a pre-installed Face Unlock feature.
The OnePlus 5T flaunts a dual-camera setup on the rear panel with a 16-megapixel IMX398 sensor and a 20-megapixel Sony IMX350 sensor. On the front panel there is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX371 sensor. It packs a 3300 mAh battery that supports fast charging through the company’s Dash Charge technology. The OnePlus 5T originally came with Android Nougat-based Oxygen 4.7.1 on the board but released OxygenOS 4.7.2 a couple of weeks ago with some improvements for fingerprint and face unlock features.
