The South-Korean tech-giant has launched cashless mode of payment in India with the name Samsung Pay. In the era of digitalization, we are coming across various ways of mobile banking and many features have been discovered so far. Adding more to it, Samsung has now put some updates on Samsung Pay app.
The company has come up with various interesting features for the users in India. Some of them are:
- The users can pay their monthly bills using the app. For mobile bills, you can add Aircel, Airtel, BSNL, Idea, Tata Docomo and Vodafone. Similarly, for the electricity bill, Samsung has added BEST Mumbai, BSES, Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution, Tata Power, Reliance Energy and Noida Power. For the broadband bill payments, you can add ACT Fibernet, BSNL, Connect and MTNL Delhi Broadband; landline payments for BSNL, Airtel, and MTNL (Mumbai & Delhi). Furthermore, the app also provides an option for paying the gas bill by adding Adani Gas, Mahanagar Gas and Indraprastha Gas; and Delhi Jal Board and Municipal Corporation of Gurugram.
- Users can also save bank account and IFSC information for their friends and family so they can easily transfer money to them.
- The reminder can also be put in the app for daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis.
- The company has also partnered with Paytm or Mobikwik and the users can add money to Paytm or Mobikwik wallet from saved credit and debit cards.
The update is 80MB in size and can be done by clicking on the three dots on the top right > followed by settings > about Samsung Pay in the app. The update option will be available there.
