The wait is finally going to be over. HMD global, the parent company for Nokia has finally sent out the invites for the launch of their new Nokia phone. A popular website, the verge had already confirmed the news regarding this invite. It was reported as the phone was spotted on the company’s China website. Although this was taken back afterward.
According to this recent report by the Verge, the launch of new Nokia 8 will take place in London on August 16th. The phone is likely to be launched with Carl Zeiss optics lens as far as the camera is concerned. It is highly likely that this will be launched as a flagship variant by Nokia.
Recently, we reported that a gold color variant was leaked online. To add to this the phone will also be available in silver and blue models. The new Nokia phone is likely to come up with a 5.3-inch Quad HD screen. It will be coupled with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor. Based on leaked images, the display will likely to have a 2.5D glass on top, and also a fingerprint scanner in the home button.

The phone is most anticipated for its camera. The images leaked suggests that it will come with a dual rear camera. Both of this will stack vertically. Nokia could also go with 13 MP + 13 MP for a rear camera.
Although, before the launch of this phone, HMD global are planning to go on sale for Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. They are expected to be launched in the coming month.
