HMD Global is all geared up to unveil its flagship phone Nokia 8 in India, on September 26. The expectations for the launch have started before as the company had started inviting media for the same. However, these are mere predictions; no official announcement has been made by the company’s side about the launch date. As per reports, the price of the Nokia 8 is said to be vary from Rs 40,000 and Rs 45,000 in the country.
The OS of Nokia 8 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with a promise to include any further updates without any delay. the smartphone is supported by an Octa-core ( For 2.5 GHz Kryo + Four 1.8 GHz Kryo) Snapdragon 835 processor with 4 GB of LPPDDR4X RAM along with 64 GB of internal storage expandable up to 256 GB.
The other features include a 5.3-inch IPS QHD display with a resolution of 2560 X 1440 pixels which comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5, providing maximum protection in a 2.5D finish for better looks. The Nokia 8 flaunts 6000 series aluminum body and has 4 color variants- two with glossy finish and two in Matte-Polished Copper, Polished Blue, Tempered blue and steel.
The main camera of the phone has 13 MP (Color+ OIS) sensors with dual tone flash and an aperture of f/2.0, 76.9, PDAF and IR range finder. ZEISS powers the camera section. The front camera comes with 13 MP PDAF, 1.12um, f/2.0 selfie camera. The IP 54 splash proof Nokia 8 comes with 3.5mm ADJ headphone jack (3-mics) and USB 3.1 Type-C. Supported by a hybrid dual-SIM card slot, it is backed by a massive battery of 3,090 Mah.
