Nokia 7 Design & Specs Leaks in China, HMD Teases Its Camera via GIF

HMD Global has sent out press invites for an event on October 19 where the company is planning to launch its new phone. The company has not yet revealed any information about the name of the smartphone that will be launched in the event but it is likely that HMD Global may launch the upgraded Nokia 8 model which will come with 128GB internal storage and 6GB RAM in China or it might be some other new smartphone completely.

The company has also put up an animated GIF in the official TMALL Nokia store which teases the camera feature of the Nokia 8 device. The Nokia 8 apparently comes with ‘Bothie’ feature which allows to click a picture simultaneously in the front and back camera of the phone. The phone also comes with some OZO Audio feature. Besides, there are some reports which state that the HMD Global may unveil the completely new Nokia 7 device at the event. The GIF on the TMALL Nokia store also features a ‘qi’ which refers to the number 7 in Chinese language. The text says that a new Nokia phone will be coming this week.

If rumours are to believed then the Nokia 7 smartphone may come in three storage options- one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal memory, second with 4GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory and the third with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. It is said that all of these three variants will be powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC. The Nokia 7 may also support the OZO Audio just like Nokia 8. It is also expected that the Nokia 7 smartphone may have the ‘Bothie’ feature like Nokia 8 device. So now, one will have to wait until the event day on October 19 to see which phone will be launched by the company finally for its consumers.
