HMD Global is planning to introduce a newer and better version of Nokia 6. And a recent communication further validates our claim. It is a concept video about Nokia 6 (2018) revealing its sleek, bezel less display. Also, the video shows a rear mounted fingerprint scanner under the rear shooter.
Apparently, Nokia is making changes in the design and hardware of its handsets. And this might be seen in the next-in-the-line smartphone, Nokia 6 (2018). It might feature slimmer bezels and an updated hardware. Looking at the design in the video, Nokia 6(2018) might sport a good 5.7-inch display. Additionally, the screen will come with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Besides this, the video shows a rear mounted fingerprint scanner, unlike Nokia 6. Also, there is a USB port and headphone jack on the sides.
Previously, Nokia 6 (2018) was spotted on TENNA. The listing hidden under a model number TA-1054 suggest, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor along with 4GB of RAM and storage of 32GB. If the rumors are to believe, the handset might come in two RAM (3GB and 4GB) and three storage (16/32/64 GB) options. Also, another set of rumors suggest a dual rear camera setup unlike the original Nokia 6 which comes with a single 16 MP rear camera.
The original Nokia 6 was launched in 2016 at a price of Rs 14,999. The specifications of original Nokia 6 are a 5.5-inch display. It packs a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor along with 3GB of RAM. The handset comes with 32GB of internal storage expandable via a microSD card to upto 128GB. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and flaunts 16-megapixel rear camera and a 8-megapixel front camera.
