HMD owned Nokia has silently launched the 4G variant of Nokia 3310 in China. The phone was spotted on TENAA earlier, which geared up the rumors of the phone coming soon in the market. The 2G variant of the same was launched in May last year and this new variant comes as an upgrade to the previous model. As an upgrade, this phone will be able to function on 4G bandwidth. Although the phone is launched in China for now, but it is expected to be launched for the rest of the world at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2018. Also, the price and availability of the device will be revealed there only.
Nokia 3310 2G came running Nokia Series 30+ OS while the 3G variant was launched with Java-based Feature OS. This variant will be debuting with YunOS which is developed by Alibaba. The phone also comes with a preloaded MP3 player. The Nokia 3310 comes in two new colors: Fresh Blue and Deep Black. The phone will house 512MB of internal storage and there would a MicroSD card slot for the memory card of up to 64GB.
Nokia 3310 4G features a 2.4-inch QVGA (240×320 pixels) color display. Also, the phone will be powered by a 1200mAH battery which is claimed to offer a standby time of 12days on 4G. The rear-facing camera is also featured with a LED flash. The device is bundled with basic connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0., Micro USB port, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n and even FM radio. The device also has the 3.5mm headphone jack.
