Though Nokia 3 has not received the Android 7.1.2 update like Nokia 6 and Nokia 8, at least the device is getting the latest Security update of October now. The update is now rolling out for the Nokia 3 TA-1032 variant in India and the update is 401.1 MB in size.
Talking about the changelog which comes along with the update includes various improved system stability and user-interface enhancements too. The eye-catching thing in the update is that it brings the reshaped Google search box. Instead of the square one, the search box now comes in rounded shape.
The update will be rolling out via OTA so can take time to reach all the devices. Meanwhile, you can check for the update by heading to the Settings options and going to the About Phone section and update the device manually. It is good to see that the company is quite consistent about providing the regular updates for its devices.
