At the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 event in Barcelona, Motorola is also expected to showcase some of its affordable range of smartphones. Continuing its G series which is known for its mid-range smartphones, Motorola is expected to soon launch the G6 models of the lineup. This includes Moto G6, Moto G6 Play, and Moto G6 Plus. Now prior to its official launch, the Moto G6 was seen online on the renowned benchmarking site, GeekBench. Some of the specifications of the device have been leaked by the site.
Now going by the listing which was leaked through the benchmarking site, the Moto G6 scored 709 in single core test and 3582 multi-core test. The device was seen running Android 8.0 out of the box, and the motherboard is listed as MSM8953. As per the listing, the Moto G6 Plus is expected to ship with an even more powerful Snapdragon 630 chipset which will be paired with 6GB of RAM. The device will be made available in 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM variants also. From the previous leak, we are very well known of the fact that the G6 Play is tipped to come with Snapdragon 430 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM.
These G6 models have been rumor mills earlier also which gave the pretty clear information about the features and specifications of the devices. The Moto G6 will feature a 5.7-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio and the device is believed to be priced at Rs 15000. The bigger variant, Moto G6 Plus, will sport a 5.93-inch 18:9 display for which you will have to pay Rs 17000. Also, based on previous renders, the Moto G6 family sports a 3D glass back.
