Moto X4 was launched in India in November 2017 and the phone is getting a new variant of 6GB. The company took the Twitter to announce the launch and will be unveiling the new variant of the phone on February 1. As per the tweet, Moto X4 6GB RAM variant will be made available from Flipkart and Moto Hub outlets.The smartphone was priced at Rs 20,999 for the 3GB RAM and 32GB variant, while, the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant comes at Rs 22,999. Apart from the RAM, there is no change in the specifications of the device. The new variant will be priced around Rs 25,000.

For the specs of the device, the phone features a 5.2-inch full HD LTPS IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and it is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor along with Adreno 508GPU. All the variants of the smartphone come with the expandable memory up to 2TB via micro SD card slot. The phone is backed by a 3000mAh battery.
For the optics, the phone comes with a dual camera set-up which has a combination of a 12-megapixel sensor with 1.4-micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture, and dual pixel autofocus and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle with a 120-degree field of view, aperture f/2.2 and 1.12-micron pixels. Other features like phase-detection, dual-tone LED flash and has some interesting modes like bokeh effect, selective black and white, background change and 4K video recording are also included. Also, there is a 16-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 lens and front LED flash along with a 4-megapixel adaptive low-light mode on the front panel of the device.
