The Lenovo’s sub-brand Motorola is reportedly been working to get three Moto G variants- Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play phone in the year 2018. It is rumoured that Motorola is planning to bring the Play lineup back with the Moto G6. Though the company is yet to give an official confirmation on this new G6 lineup, a post by Evan Blass shows some details about the lineup’s arrival soon.
Blass often comes with accurate information in his leaks and renders. And if his tweet post is to be believed, then the company will soon be coming up with the G6 series of smartphones. The Moto G6 and G6 Plus will be the successors of the last years’ Moto G5 and G5 plus devices. The third phone, Moto G6 Play is a new addition to the G6 series which was not seen last year in the G5 lineup.
The company had last launched a Play variant of G series when it announced the G4 Play handset. On Monday, the tweet by Evan Blass reveals that the company will be coming with the Play series again this time with the G6 lineup. As of now, Blass has not revealed other information about the specifications, launch timeline or pricing of the G lineup.
In a previous report, Motorola had announced about the Midnight Blue color variant of the Moto G5s in India. The Moto G5s and G5s Plus were recently launched in India. These two phones are believed to be higher versions of the Moto G5 and G5 Plus smartphones. Both, the G5s and G5s Plus come with a big display, better camera and all metal body design. The phones are stronger than the other G5 series phones. Both have just a few upgrades when compared with the Moto G5 and G5 Plus device.
