Moto E5 Leaks in Real Life Renders With Rear Fingerprint Scanner

Motorola has its Moto E series which comes at the affordable price range along with the quality promise. Now continuing the series, the company is believed to be working on the successor of its E4 model. The Moto E5 and Moto E5 Plus smartphones were recently spotted online. And now the popular tipster, Evan Blass has revealed on Twitter the presence of E5 Play as well.

There have been numerous leaks and renders about the upcoming devices. The tipster has leaked some of the real-life renders of the Play model on Twitter, hinting towards the design aspects of the device. With this new smartphone, Moto’s E series will get the first Play variant. The E5 does not come with a physical home button on the front, therefore, the fingerprint sensor is moved to the back of the device. Along with this, there is front-facing flash on the top bezel.

Counting upon the specifications which were revealed earlier, the Moto E5 might come with a Qualcomm processor but the chipset configuration is still unclear. The recent FCC listing says that the Moto E5 will pack in a 4,000mAh battery which is much larger than the 2800mAh battery powering Moto E4.

However, design-wise, we will not be able to see any noticeable difference between the E5 and the E4 model. We can expect Moto E5 including the “M” dimple at the back below the camera. There has been no official announcement of the launch of the device, but as the device has received Bluetooth certification, it is believed to be unveiled soon.
