In order to offer affordable 4G smartphones, now, Motorola and Airtel have partnered up. Today Airtel has announced its partnership with the country’s fourth-largest mobile brand, Motorola, owned by Lenovo. As a part of the ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ initiative by the telecom service provider, some of the popular Motorola smartphones are available with a cashback Rs 2,000.
As Lenovo is the latest one to join the list of smartphones under this initiative, some of its smartphones which are eligible for the offer are entry-level Moto C, budget smartphone Moto E4 and mid-range device Lenovo K8 Note. There are some terms & conditions which need to be followed by the customer to receive the cashback. If you are interested in the cashback, you need to do the cumulative recharge of value Rs 3,500 in the first 18 months, which will make you eligible for Rs 500 cashback. The remaining Rs 1,500 as cashback will be credited after the second installment of Rs 3,500 recharges is achieved in the next 18 months.
“We are delighted to collaborate with Motorola under the ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ initiative. It marks a major milestone in our journey towards building a large open ecosystem of affordable smartphone options for our valued customers. We look forward to working with Motorola to bring smartphones within the reach of more and more customers,” said Vani Venkatesh, Chief Marketing Officer, Bharti Airtel.
“We are delighted to partner with Airtel in the ‘Mera Pehla Smartphone’ initiative, as it opens a world of limitless possibilities for the consumers. It is a great opportunity for Airtel subscribers to upgrade to 4G and enjoy the meaningful experiences across Motorola & Lenovo smartphones. We are confident that with this partnership, we will be able to empower more users with an enriched mobile experience,” said Sudhin Mathur, Managing Director, Motorola Mobility India, and Lenovo MBG India.
As we are already aware of Reliance Jio’s JioFootball offer in which users are getting flat cash back on many of the smartphones available in the country. Therefore, Airtel is nowhere to stop to give competition to the leading telecom service provider. The company has also joined hands with HMD Global and offering the same Rs 2,000 cashback on Nokia 2 and Nokia 3 smartphones.
