Following the footsteps of the Reliance Jio Telecom, it is Micromax which would surprise you next with a 4G VoLTE feature phone! Yes, you heard that right. The Micromax Bharat One is on the cards.
Owing to the festive season, and the JioPhone rocking the nation as of now, Gurugram-based Micromax also wishes to give it a good try.
According to the buzz on the town, the 4G VoLTE feature phone from Micromax would step into the big commerce in early October, supposedly next week.
Now, this is one thing that you should look up to. If you are tired of using your smartphones, you can switch over to the feature phones again. Phones serve the main purpose of communication, anyhow. And 4G VoLTE is a big standard still and all. Furthermore, you can easily purchase this low-budget affordable device.
Although, there is no competition to how much lower the JioPhone is priced. Yet, Micromax has still kept the figure as economical as possible.
The Micromax Bharat One would cost you below Rs. 2000 again. But, it might come around as Rs. 1999, unlike the JioPhone with Rs. 1500 refundable tag.
Micromax itself announced that through this endeavor, they wish to give a tough fight to the JioPhone base in the market.
“The idea is to have a device that can give competition to Reliance’s Jio Phone… there is a huge market of 500 million feature phone users who would want to have more than one option,” a Micromax executive reported.
It cannot be said how the turnouts would be, owing to the 6 million JioPhone shipments. However, one can never say when the tables get turned.
It is expected that the Bharat One would launch with free voice calls facility out-of-the-box. On the other hand, it is unlikely that the device would sport the Android OS.
The Micromax Bharat One is expected to debut as a 2-inch device with a probable 1 GB RAM and 2 MP shooter. An inside person from the domestic firm also exclaimed that the Bharat One will present more battery life, sharper camera and a larger screen size, as compared to the current attributes of a feature phone.
Moreover, Micromax has teamed up with state-owned telecom firm to unveil the 4G VoLTE feature phone in the country. BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) which now offers only up to 3G services, has collaborated for the 4G VoLTE Micromax Bharat One.
