Micromax Bharat 5 Plus With Massive 5000mAh Battery and 4G Support Launched in India

The new year has begun, and with this the launching of new smartphones has also ushered. Micromax has unveiled the Micromax Bharat 5 in India today. The phone is going to be available offline in the country exclusively. Bharat 5 Plus and Bharat 5 Pro are going to be the next flagships of the Bharat series by the company.

Shubhodip Pal, Chief Marketing and Chief Commercial Officer, Micromax Informatics, said “Bharat 5 like its predecessors will truly drive the next phase of smartphone adoption in the country, as a smartphone with 5000mAh battery is pivotal for a market like India where the tier 3-4 cities still face severe power outage issues,” talking about the launch.

Talking about the features of the phone, it flaunts a 5.2-inch HD display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The device is ignited by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor. There comes 1 GB of RAM coupled with the processor with 16 GB of internal storage on the board which can be expanded further upto 64 GB via inserting a microSD card.

Camera-wise, there comes a 5 MP primary snapper on the rear panel as well as a 5 MP front selfie shooter on the front panel. Both the sensors are accompanied by LED flashes. Connectivity options on the board include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, FM radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB. There also comes a massive 5000 mAh battery packed with the device.

Talking about the price details of the device, Micromax Bharat 5 price in India comes with a price tag of Rs. 5,555. There is also a launch offer associated with the phone. The offer is such that any new or existing Vodafone customer can with a 1 GB data pack will get an additional 10 GB of data a month for 5 months, which sums up to 50 GB of additional data for 5 months.
