After Local Calling, Reliance Jio Now Eyeing Reduced International Calling Rates

Reliance Jio has been giving stiff competition to other telecom companies since the day it was launched. The company is trying to capture more and more customers and that’s why Jio always comes up with latest plans. Jio’s Rs 399 plan is giving unlimited free local, and STD calls for 84 days. It also includes 84 GB of 4G data. The recent article shows that it is also giving 100% cash back on Rs 399 pack under its Diwali Dhan Dhana Dhan offer. After local calling rates, Jio has reduced its International calling rates.

A few months ago, Jio had introduced its lowest rate-cutter plan for the international call. To activate the pack Jio users need to do a recharge of Rs. 501. Through this rate cutter, the user can make international call at Rs. 3 per minute. The validity of this pack is 28 days. This information has given on the company’s official website.

After purchasing the plan, the users can make calls at just Rs. 3 per minute to these countries- US, UK, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, Austria, Brazil, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Sweden, Switzerland, Poland, Taiwan, Italy, Belgium, Malta, and Luxembourg. But if the users call to Pakistan, Israel, Argentina, Denmark, South Korea, and Japan, they will have to pay Rs. 4.8 per minute.

Likewise, the users will have to pay Rs. 5 per minute to call someone in China, Mexico, and Bermuda. Jio’s highest rate is Rs 13 per minute. This applies to UAE and Nepal.

On the other side, to save its traveling customers from bill shocks, Bharti Airtel is offering the lowest international plan. If the customer is traveling to other country and does not have any roaming pack and the daily usage exceeds Rs. 499, then the international roaming plan will be activated automatically without any extra cost.

Apart from Airtel and Jio, Vodafone recently has introduced the i-RoamFREE plan. It offers free incoming calls. Currently, Vodafone charges Rs 1 per minute for all international and local outgoing calls and Rs 1 per MB data.
