Lenovo Hints Comeback Of Razr Flip Phone ‘Very Soon’

The Lenovo owned smartphone brand CEO may have just hinted towards the fact that the company might revive the Razr flip phone soon. While responding to the comments during an interview at the MWC 2018 trade show in Barcelona, Lenovo CEO Yang Yuanqing quoted “With the new technology, particularly foldable screens, I think you will see more and more innovation on our smartphone design.” He further added, “So hopefully what you just described [the Motorola Razr brand] will be developed or realized very soon.”

Nokia has come with the Nokia 8810 sliding “Matrix phone” at MWC 2018 this year and this announcement of the new phone might give competition to Nokia brand. The Motorola Razr is a fondly remember clamshell (flip) phone series which became very popular in the mid-2000s. But due to the deviation towards the touchscreen smartphones, the selling of this device eventually came to an end. The Motorola Razr V3 had an iconic design which was very fondly of users so we are yet to discover whether the company keeps the design as original or will try to give this device a twist of modern technology as well.

Wouldn’t it be great to have a new Razr with premium specs and foldable touchscreen display? In this new age of fondness for technology, the tech-savvy are always in hunger of something new. But the CEO has promised to bring this retro phone from dead if its fans are hoping for it. Share with us your comment on this in the comment section below.
