With the official sale of the iPhone X in India starting on Friday, November 3, one could see long queues outside authorised Apple resellers in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai as well. Also, all the major retailers across India had long queues outside their stores on the launch day. The iPhone X India retail availability began at 6pm IST in India with a lot of crowd lining up outside stores even before the stores actually opened in order to be the first to get their hands on the iPhone X.
India is not the only country where people have been lining up in long queues to get the iPhone x. the first wave of launch countries also include Andorra, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greenland, Guernsey, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Japan, Jersey, Kuwait, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, United Arab Emirates, the UK, the US and the US Virgin Islands.
We have already seen long queues of people in the first markets where the iPhone X became available like New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Mainland China and Singapore. Moreover, there was a huge lineup seen outside Apple stores in New York starting from Thursday.
Talking about the price of the phone, the iPhone X is the most expensive smartphone in India so far with its closest rival being Google Pixel 2 XL which went for pre-orders in India at Rs 73,000 last week for the base variant.
