Just when, Bharti Airtel, the leading telecom operator has revised its Rs 399 prepaid tariff plan, Idea has also come into action. The company has now revised the validity of one of its popular plans. Idea is now offering benefits of its Rs 398 plan for 84 days which previously was 70 days validity period. The newly revised plan is only applicable to its subscribers in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana circle for now. There is no change in any other benefits of this plan apart from the validity.
Now with this newly revised plan, Idea prepaid customers will get 1GB of 3G/4G data per day. The pack is also bundled with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day for 84 days. However, the free voice calls are limited to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week. Also, this plan offers up to Rs 3,300 worth vouchers from Idea Cellular to the customers going for this prepaid recharge.
Airtel has also revised its Rs 399 prepaid tariff plan with the same 84 days validity period which was of 70 days validity period previously. Even after this, Airtel and Idea are far behind the king of the telecom sector, Reliance Jio. With its Rs 399 prepaid plan, Jio is offering 1.5GB data per day. While Airtel and Idea are offering a total of 84GB data, Jio offers 126GB data with its plan for the same validity.
In this era of increasing competition, all the telecom incumbents are trying their very best to lure their customers but Jio is always one step ahead of all of them. We are yet to see what more this war has to offer us.
